Sweet Bun Pull Aparts
Yields: 24 buns
This easy ooey gooey breakfast roll is brought together by using ready-made frozen bread dough rolls...no one will know it isn't scratch made. Another tasty recipe from the SugarBaby Brown Sugar Saver Kitchen.
What You Need
24 frozen bread dough rolls
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup instant vanilla pudding mix (dry)
2 Tbsp cinnamon
1/3 cup butter, melted + 2 Tbsp, softened for greasing the pan
3/4 cup topping choice (choose raisins, craisins, chopped pecans, sliced almonds or chocolate chips to name but a few)
What To Do
- Liberally grease a spring form pan (sides and bottom) and arrange the rolls evenly into it. A large round cake pan can be substituted for the spring form but depending on how big it is will dictate how many rolls will fit into it.
- Combine the dry ingredients (brown sugar, instant pudding mix, cinnamon plus topping) together and gently dress the rolls.
- Cover the rolls with the melted butter.
- Cover the pan with a damp tea towel an leave overnight at room temperature to allow the rolls to rise.
- Place the pan onto a covered bakind sheet. The rolls bake on the second rack from the bottom of the over at 350 degrees F for approximately 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let stand for 5 minutes and turn out onto a flat plate or platter to serve.
Sweet Advice
- Choose one or a combination of toppings to dress the rolls.
- Make sure to place the filled spring form pan onto a baking sheet to catch any sweet drippings.
